
In September 1912, Ludwig Wittgenstein travelled to Iceland together with David Pinsent. During the crossing, their ship stopped in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. From Pinsent’s diaries, we learn that Wittgenstein did not cope too well with the rough sea.
