Ludwig Wittgenstein lived in the Schachnerstüberl in Trattenbach (on the left in the picture) during his time as a primary school teacher. Today, it houses a small museum dedicated to Wittgenstein.
The building on the right once housed a tavern, the noise from which prompted Wittgenstein to move elsewhere.
