A memorial plaque at the former location of the secondary school in Steingasse, Linz, which Ludwig Wittgenstein attended from 1904 to 1906 (now a hotel), honours both Wittgenstein and Adalbert Stifter, one of Upper Austria's most famous writers, who is listed as the founder of the school.
