


This building once housed the Loew Sanatorium, where Ludwig Wittgenstein underwent surgery for a hernia in 1906, shortly after completing his schooling in Linz.
The composer Gustav Mahler died at this sanatorium in 1911—a memorial plaque now marks the location.
