Adolf Loos Resting Place

Ludwig Wittgenstein and Adolf Loos met in 1914, at a time when Wittgenstein was donating part of his inherited fortune to artists and cultural figures. The two appeared to share many common views, and Wittgenstein was pleased by the encounter. Paul Engelmann, who later co-designed the house for Wittgenstein’s sister Margaret Stonborough, had been a student of Loos.
