In 1919, after hastily leaving his lodgings in Untere Viaduktgasse, Ludwig Wittgenstein stayed temporarily with the Sjögren family, with whom he was on friendly terms, in Vienna’s 13th district. He later moved to Kriehubergasse to live with his friend Ludwig Hänsel.
