At this address in Vienna’s third district once stood the Jahoda & Siegel publishing house, best known for issuing Karl Kraus’s "Die Fackel" — a legacy now marked by a commemorative plaque. As early as 1918, Ludwig Wittgenstein attempted to have his "Tractatus" published here. The publisher, however, declined, citing technical difficulties with the printing process.
