In Strathaird, Lady Margaret Road, Cambridge, Ludwig Wittgenstein repeatedly stayed with Georg Henrik von Wright, who later became his successor at Trinity College. It was here, in 1950, that the last known photographs of Wittgenstein during his lifetime were taken, showing him sitting in front of the veranda, already visibly marked by his cancer. Today, the building is part of Lucy Cavendish College.
